Enrolling in a course

Register for summer 2008 courses begining April 9

Two sessions for summer 2008
> Session 1 runs May 21 - July 8
> Session 2 runs July 2 - August 19

To enroll in a course, go to the course listings and select the professional development course you want to take. Click the course name to view details about any course. Click the Register Now button beside a course name to submit your registration information.

Cost

Teachers can enroll for $125/course. Three or more teachers from a school building can form a professional learning community and take a course together at a reduced rate of $100/course.

To help educators access high-quality professional development, DESE and Missouri Public Broadcasting Stations have made it possible for the e-Learning for Educators: Missouri program to offer scholarships that cover one-half of the course fee ($62.50 value) for courses in content areas identified as high need for the state of Missouri.

Graduate credit

Graduate credit is available from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and Missouri State University (MSU) for an additional $100/credit hour. Most courses are worth one to two credit hours. After you register for a course, you will receive information about how to enroll for graduate credit from the institution of your choice.

Payment information

Payment for e-Learning for Educators: Missouri courses must be received within 10 days of registration AND before the first day of the course. Enrollment is not complete until payment is received.

Note: University of Missouri policies require the following payment procedures:

• Payment must be received within ten working days of the submission date of your registration form AND before the first day of the course. If not, the registration will be cancelled.
• Registrants will receive e-mail confirmation after payment is received.
• Late registrants will be charged a $5 late fee.
• Types of payment accepted: Purchase Order or Credit Card (Visa, Master Card and Discover) only.

Credit and payments

1. Complete the online registration form.
2. Contact e-Learning for Educators: Missouri office with your credit card information within ten working days:

   Note: Do NOT submit credit card information via an insecure e-mail message.

Purchase order (P.O.) payments

1. Complete the online registration form, making sure to include the Purchase Order number in its designated field.
2. Payable to University of Missouri.
3. Fax your Purchase Order to the e-Learning for Educators: Missouri office at [573] 884=7614 within ten working days.

Cancellation and refund information

• Participants who cancel before online registration closes will be eligible for a full refund.
• No refunds will be issued to participants who drop courses after the second week of class.
• To cancel registration send e-mail to e-Learning MO Program Coordinator with the following information:
• course title
• e-mail address
• request for refund if payment has been made
