Graduate Credit Options for e-Learning for Educators CoursesUpdated for summer semester 2008 - session 2 e-Learning for Educators: Missouri provides participants with options for receiving graduate credit for participation in e-Learning MO courses. Receiving graduate credit requires that teachers meet the requirements outlined in the syllabus approved by participating institutions. Requirements include participating in a positive way in online discussion boards and completing assignments in a timely manner as specified by the syllabus. All e-Learning MO graduate credit courses are offered for $100 per credit hour. The same syllabus is used regardless of the institution chosen. Sign up nowStep 1 - Be sure to complete all institution-specific registration procedures to ensure you are enrolled and will receive credit for your work. Step 2 - Send e-mail to your course instructor and to elearning@missouri.edu notifying them you will be completing graduate credit assignments. Detailed procedures, course numbers, deadlines, enrollment forms, FAQ and moreYou must follow all guidelines and procedures specific to the institution in which you choose to enroll. Note that each institution's procedures and requirements are unique. Be sure to follow them carefully to avoid any confusion over payment, grades or credits at a later date.
Dropping a coursePlease be sure you want to complete the graduate credit course, including all assignments listed on the syllabus, before sending in an enrollment form. If you find that you must drop the course, you must let the contact person at the institution in which you are enrolled know immediately. Letting your course instructor or an e-Learning MO staff member know that you wish to drop is NOT sufficient to complete the drop process.
